South African MC Priddy Ugly has been teasing his sophomore album Soil for the past couple of weeks. Today, July 28 he finally drops off the follow up to 2017’s critically acclaimed E.G.Y.P.T.
Led by the title track, the 10-track effort features guest appearances from Zulu Mecca, Blxckie, H-D and Maglera Doe Boy.
Production on the album is handled by Herc Cut The Lights, Shooter Khumz, and Wichi 1080.
On Soil the notebook king crys for help on Let Me Out, leads a culture reset, drops introcate wordplay on Woah Woah, stays true to his skills on Poltergeist Interlude and taunts his opps on Handful Of Dust.
“Soil” follows last month’s two-track box set “Never Pen Era,” which included the singles “The Pen” and “Spiritual Warfare.”
