Shock G will be laid to rest in Tampa on Saturday according to his manager Atron Gregory.
TMZ reports his Digital Underground group including founding members Money B and DJ Fuze will be well represented at the ceremony.
Money B has reportedly been working with Shock G’s family to help prep for the funeral, but it won’t be a Digital Underground reunion as the group members regularly stay in touch and have seen each other recently.
Tupac Shakur’s stepbrother Mopreme Shakur, will also attend the funeral, according to a rep for the Tupac Amaru Shakur foundation. The late Shock G introduced Tupac to the world when he featured him on the hit single “Same Song” featuring a series of artists.
Shock G was found dead last week in a Tampa hotel room, and his father said there were no signs of trauma. The cause of death remains unknown, but the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner reports Shock was last seen the day before he died, when a hotel manager noticed him outside the building.
The hotel manager was reportedly worried when Shock G didn’t checkout of his room as at when due, so he went to his room, opening the door to find Shock unresponsive laying in bed. The manager immediately called 911.
