The Donda Academy’s students look drastically different from other schools when it comes to enrollment.
According to Rolling Stone, two families claimed that parents of Donda Academy students must sign nondisclosure agreements for Kanye West’s secretive school. With only roughly 100 students, Donda Academy is a small school.
Tamar Andrews, a school consultant, claimed the parents of each student only have to sign an informal agreement. However, she didn’t specify what the agreement was. Instead, she tried to disprove the families’ claims that their children were abused by the school.
Andrews responded, “We don’t mind people knowing about the school.”
The school’s reputation attracts students seeking a Christian education. Some see Donda’s affiliation as a benefit, while others see it as a negative. Regardless, students are aware of the school’s existence and can choose to attend if they wish.
Malik Yusef, West’s longtime friend and collaborator, agreed with this idea. He said that the school offers students things that other institutions don’t have.
Donda Academy provides a sense of security and privacy for its students. They also have access to care, love, a healthy environment, and an educational one focused on God.
Kanye doesn’t need to publicly announce his plans so he can be scrutinized more; the Donda school process is intended for attendees and parishioners.
