The top ten debate is never going away is it?
After causing social hysteria with his hot take on The Breakfast Club this week, where he said Eminem is not a top ten rapper (I agree), Snoop Dogg has unveiled a list of his top ten greatest rappers of all time.
“A lot of niggaz been cryin about me leaving people off my top 10,” he wrote on Instagram. “Without even seeing my shit so here it is.”
The list contains names of artists from the 80’s and early 90’s including Ice. T, Ice Cube, Too Short and Big Daddy Kane.
“Notice how none of my peers or m. Cs after me are on the list,” Snoop added. “Respect ya. Gz is what I was taught if u offended you’ll get over it.”

Snoop’s remarks arrives few days after he claimed Eminem is only mentioned in top ten debates because of his relationship with Dr. Dre.
“He [Dr. Dre] has probably put Eminem in the position that he would be considered one of the top 10 rappers ever. I don’t think so, but the game thinks that he’s top 10 lyricists and everything that comes with it. That’s just because he’s with Dr. Dre.”
Dre signed Eminem to his Aftermath Entertainment label in 1998. The rest as they say is history.
