Tyson Fury won his trilogy grudge match against Deontay Wilder with an 11th round knockout at a packed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The 33-year-old Brit was floored twice in the fourth round but had the resolve and resilience to recover from his early scare and extend his undefeated professional record to 32 fights.
“I was down a couple of times, I was hurt, Wilder is a strong puncher,” said Fury.
“Wilder is a strong puncher and he’s a tough man… He gave me a real run for my money tonight, and I always said I’m the best in the world and he’s the second best.”
