Fans prematurely speculated Tory Lanez was going to jail after the Toronto artist posted a cryptic tweet on social media Tuesday (September 21) that suggested he was going away.
“It’s been real,” Tory tweeted without any context. He also wiped out everything on his Instagram page.
People assumed he was about to be locked up for violating Megan Thee Stallion’s restraining order when he took the stage with DaBaby at Rolling Loud Miami 2021.
The rapper has come out to kill early celebrations of his arrest, letting fans know he’s home and prepping the release of his next project.
“Me at my house …. watching niggas on Twitter celebrating and thinking I’m going to jail..” Tory tweeted along with a Gif of a dancing Wiz Khalifa.
He also added that he’s dropping an “80’s” album, titled “Alone At Prom” soon.
