Chris Brown has been sued for $20 million by a woman who claims the R&B superstar drugged and raped her on a yacht parked at Diddy’s Miami estate in December 2020.
The woman — a professional choreographer, dancer, and model claims the incident left her “with severe emotional distress,” however Chris Brown has come out deny the sexual assault allegations. On Thursday night, the 32-year old singer took to his Instagram Stories to call “cap” to the woman’s claims.
“I HOPE YALL SEE THIS PATTERN OF [cap],” he wrote. “Whenever im [sic] releasing music or projects, ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bullshit.”
Hours later, Brown also uploaded a video of him dancing to his latest single “Iffy” on his Instagram page with the caption, “can’t trust these h**s kuz they iffy #iffychallenge #breezyseason.”
Tory Lanez, a close friend of Chris Brown who is fighting a different allegation for the alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion came to Brown’s defense saying “They really need to leave my dawg @chrisbrownofficial alone and just let him be great!!!! … Everytime he got some good shit going on … or he start a album rollout here somebody come with some fake shit to drag him down!!!!!”
He added, “I’ve litterally [sic] never seen the man be nothing but nice as fuck to his fans and peers!!! Let the GOAT be the GOAT.”
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, the unidentified woman says Chris grabbed her friend’s phone while she was on a FaceTime call and told her to come to the yacht at Diddy’s Star Island home.
When she arrived, The Indigo-singer allegedly offered her a drink before they retreated to the kitchen area on the yacht. After he refilled her cup, the woman claims she started to feel “a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness” and felt “disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep.”
It was during that moment she alleges Chris Brown took her to a bedroom while she was “drugged” and “half-asleep.” She says Chris closed the bedroom door, undressed her, and started kissing her. Despite her attempts to stop him, she claims he persisted and ejaculated inside her before getting up and announcing he was “done.”
In the docs, she claims Brown texted her the following day and demanded she take a Plan B, which she did. Her attorneys Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck, say she did not report the alleged rape to police at the time because she was a medical student and was embarrassed.
