It’s no longer news that Rihanna is pregnant with her and A$AP Rocky’s first child. The news has social media in a frenzy, with several fans, haters and well wishers converging on Twitter to share their excitement and heartbreak.
One artist who seems to be getting a lot of attention is Drake. The Toronto rapper professed his love to the Fenty creator while presenting her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” he said. “She’s one of my best friends in the world.”
The two were reportedly involved at some point but fell out along the way. In 2018, during an interview with Vogue, Riri confirmed they were no longer friends. “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either,” she explained. “It is what it is.
