Cardi B crosses off another accomplishment off her wishlist. The mother of two recently revealed she just bought a house in her hometown of New York City. Cardi made the announcement on Tuesday (Nov. 2) to her followers on instagram, along with a photo of herself standing in the all-white foyer with her hands in the air.
“These days I don’t just live one place, I’m everywhere due to my work,” Cardi captioned the photo. “One thing for sure I needed a home in my home city of NY! I’m soo proud of myself. I work so hard for my children to be comfortable everywhere they are regardless of work.”
The 29-year old rapper is proud of her accomplishments so far but she’s not done chasing her dreams. “I have accomplished so many things yet I still feel far from all the goals I want to accomplish. This is one dream I can crossoff…..Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!”
This is the latest real estate purchase for Cardi and Offset, who have been expanding their real estate portfolio internationally. In addition to owning three homes in the United Sates, Cardi B is also the proud owner of a six-bedroom mansion in the Dominican Republic.
“I just can’t believe this ! This was sooo amazing to me,” Cardi wrote in a message to Offset after he surprised her with the house on her birthday. “For one, I’m so happy that you were actually really listening to me and not just smiling and nodding your head so I could stop talkin to you about it.”
In more Cardi news, the Grammy-winning rapper is set to host the American Music Awards when it airs live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC.
“When I received the invite to host the AMAs, I was so excited,” Cardi B said in a statement. “I’m ready to bring my personality to the AMAs stage! Thank you to Jesse Collins, ABC and MRC for making this happen.”
