Soulja Boy Announces ‘Verzuz’ battle with Bow Wow.
One week after the Internet debated who would win between Bow Wow and Romeo, Soulja Boy and Bow Wow are set to face off in an upcoming edition of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s Verzuz series.
Soulja Boy made the announcement on Saturday (May 22) on his Twitter account.
“Soulja Boy vs Bow wow #verzuz it’s official,” he wrote.
Bow Wow confirmed Soulja Boy’s Verzuz announcement on his Instagram.
“Soulja, I have so many No. 1s,” Bow Wow declared. “If you go on Google right now and you type in ‘Rappers with the most No. 1s,’ you will see Drake first, Eminem, Lil Wayne. I’m on a list with a lot of greats. There ain’t a lot of us.”
Both rappers have been making music since they were kids, and have a lengthy catalog of songs to choose from including their 2009 track Marco Polo.
The news of the battle has taken over social media and Twitter Fans are now debating who they think will win. Romeo also wasn’t left out of the debate. Checkout some of the reactions below.
